Pepe Arcade is one of the younger better known artists in the Mallorca techno scene. His work in the balearic label Irdial music has helped the island to be considered a quarry of excellent producers of the country and day to day the number of label grows. He having dropped records on labels such as Irdial Music, Serial number 849 records, Upfront, Darkside, Sirius Pandi….In this release we found a bridge from the cosy confines of a studio to the outer spaces, with a collaborative proyect between Angel Costa and Dakpa. This original sounds are a convincing club-tracks, with lighter colours and a straight four to the floor drive….Deconstructed sounds, experimental tones…melancholy, and highly calibrated dancefloor precision where can be listened to from start to finish. Angel and Dakpa transforms the mood of the original track without losing its great melodic feel in amazing Dub techno sounds.  Often when Pong musiq claims to be taking risks and trying something new, the truth is rather less remarkable. Not in this case: Pepe have created a terrifically original, inimitable trio of tracks that combine Techno and the avant-garde, the cerebral and the physical, to absolutely stunning effect. It might be unusual and it might be clever, but it’s still dance music pure.
